I'm having major issues with the vocal oohs and aahs. They hit the wrong notes, pause and do all kinds of strange things.

You'll need to give more information than that.
The version of BIAB that you're using (year and build), probably the style that you're using, probably the tracks that you're using.
A screenshot of the main page would probably be a good idea.

In addition to the info mentioned, to help you we would need the name of the style or tracks you used. You could upload the song to Dropbox (free) and provide a link here.

If you have Reaper you can use the Plugin or open the frozen SGU directly in Reaper to give the vocal sections that you can then easily edit:
