Intro Trio #21 - Bluesy Styles Intro - Minor Key
Memo: In this intro, the right hand uses very bluesy licks while the left hand moves from a Dm7 through to an A7alt chord.
Intro Trio #46 - Jazz Style Intro - Major Key
Memo: This is another intro that sets up to the II chord. The left hand plays off-beats on the V while the right hand plays 6ths with chromatic notes leading into them. This is followed by a I-IV-III-VI progression, which is quite common.
Intro Trio #68 - Bossa Nova Style Intro - Minor Key
Memo: This intro is an example of how to set up a bossa nova using a simple chord progression like Gm69 through to Ab13. In this case, the piano plays some melodic improvisation like unison lines, two octaves apart using grace notes.
