Scenario:

I right-click on a mixer slot (the 6th slot) to change the soloing instrument (a sax in this case).
It changed correctly. I have it set to play the chord sheet instead of the demo....
When I select a Different sax - the same (last chosen) sax continues to play - because, for some unknown reason, the Picker has Moved to a different Mixer Slot (a muted one in this case).
It continues to update/change THAT mixer slot (track 9).

In order to get Slot 6 to change, I have to close the Picker window and right-click Slot 6 to bring the picker up.
It changed Slot 6
And the next change immediately goes to Slot 9.

If I Start in Slot 9 - all the changes take place in Slot 9 (as expected).

Slot 6 is sick.
floyd,

Just to clarify... I take it that you are numbering from the top of the mixer (as shown in the image below). If this is the case, I suspect that the problem you're experiencing might be something to do with the fact that Track 6 and Track 9 were originally 'special' tracks in earlier versions of BIAB (Melody and Audio). The Melody, Soloist, Thru and Audio tracks still hold some special traits today. It is because of this that I have BIAB set to display the original track names in the mixer so that I'm aware of these tracks.

I'll report your discovery to Andrew and his team and refer them to this thread smile

Have seen this phenomenon myself. Happened to me.too.
Steps to reproduce please.

I have seen it in the past, but it's a series of three to four conditions, (undocumented at this point), that can make it reproducible.
