I just downloaded the latest update.
Version 2022 (920).

I'm working on a song.
Was almost finished but changed a midi file and wanted to import chords from that midi file.

After the import all the changes were gone.
The muted real tracks were unmuted (all the bar settings were back to default.)
I changed some instruments (real tracks) that changed back to the default real track.
The imported melody was gone.

I'm not really sure that this happened after the update but I've never noticed this before.

So is this something that I just never noticed before or is this a bug that needs to be corrected?

It may have happened due to the method you imported the MIDI data. I would think opening a MIDI file would reset everything and overwrite changes to align with the new MIDI data.

Your post indicates you imported the file rather than specifying to import chords only.

There's a command to import just MIDI chords that should only import the chords and nothing else.
