How do you get resolution greater than a 16th note.

Hi DWG,

By "greater than", I'm assuming you mean notes of smaller time value (e.g. 32nd, 64th, etc.).

To enter these, use Piano Roll mode. They won't show up properly on the notation but they will play correctly.

If you are wanting to get these smaller value notes to show in notation, so that you can pass the notation on to others, it is necessary to use a program dedicated to writing music. I use MuseScore (freeware).

Hope this helps,
Noel

Thank you, I have finale and I can use that. Is there a way to copy the notes from notation to another program? I am not sure what format the notation file uses. Finale will import Encore, Midiscan, Rhapsody, Smartscore, and Score file. Are any of those file formats used?

I think you can open the MIDI file.
