Help! I can't figure out how to import a midi file to real band. I was successful last night, but couldn't do it again this morning.

I found on the internet free midi files that I want to import. I click on the link and they play OK on my computer. What are the next steps to getting these files into Real Band?

Having found the Midi on the Internet, click, ignore Open but click Save and then transfer the file to a folder in say RealBand from which you should be able to load the file into the program.

If you have no other tracks already inside RealBand (as in when you hit "New") then all you need do is hit the File -> Open command and navigate to the folder where your .mid file is stored using the explorer window that opens, and then select that file and open it.

If you already have some tracks inside RealBand and want to ADD the MIDI file to them, that is when you should use the "Load Scrap" command, navigating to the file the same way.

The simplest way is the first one and likely the one most often used or needed.
