Need real instruments in 3/4 time

I do lots of music in 3/4 time but the real instruments sound like they are playing in 4/4 time with a 3/4 style. The instruments shut off at weird places trying to play with 3/4 styles. I don't think any of the real instruments are played in 3/4 time. I wonder if I'm the only one with this problem. occ
