It would help to have a move tool with drag and drop or just "from" and "to". Right now all I can find is cut and paste which works but the move tool would add a fine tuning method that would make the workflow better. Wyndham

Thanks to rharv I found the method of moving a selection of a track. One needs to hold the ctrl key while moving the selection for it to work. Wyndham

Hey Sam, What I was looking for was a way to incrementally move a track from one time code point to another. Say that on a vocal track everything is fine but in relationship to the other tracks it might sound better if that vocal track were moved ahead or behind the instrument tracks just a bit. Or if on another track you wanted to create a sound like a gunshot, where and how are you going to place it, copy and paste works but if you are off and want to move this sound, just highlight it and hold the left mouse button down and the ctrl key and slide or move the track where you want. I found this by trying several different keys after I posted the wishlist above and it works well. I have not tried other ways of specifying where I want the track to go but there well maybe other combination that improve the placement of that clip or track.
