I join Dani, my new favorite of yours.
Lots of emotion through great vocals, and 3/4 for ballads is always a good choice.

Love it!

Hi, Elliott. Always a pleasure pushing play on one of your productions. Such emotion in your vocal makes this a compelling song. You've achieved a level of production that is on par or better than anything out there. I really love the arrangement here. You include so much dynamics and every instrument is perfectly played and placed. Enjoyed my first listen so much.

Thank you for listening and the kind words
I've been working a lot on production techniques To get some feedback on it is good. In the past, I tended to overproduce. Now I've learned that "less is more."

Elliott,

You always do these classic-rock/(Skynyrd) sounding tracks so well! It's a beautiful trip back in time! I liked how you held the drums back as long as you did! Great vocals as usual!

Thanks, TB

Nice song Elliott, well sung too. As always, I sure liked your guitar work on this track. I really liked the finger picking and how the distorted guitar later worked in so well. Good stuff.

Nice one Elliott,
I think you could automate that 1st syllable a bit...it's loud/aggressive/harsh.
There's a cool tough edge to much of the vocal that echoes that 1st syllable but as an intro it's possibly a tad too much.
The vocal vibrato at the end of phrases works well.
The break down to the solo is really cool but I wasn't fussed on the solo's tone.
Good song, good performance & solid production.

Hi Elliott,

Another good song - very enjoyable and lots of interest and light and shade.

My only slight suggestion is the vocals which are good, energetic and tuneful.
However I would have liked to hear a bit more of your natural voice i.e. the lower and mid frequencies. It sounds as if you may have EQ rolled off those frequencies (I could be wrong).

Excellent song.

Best Regards
Nigel

You mentioned "less is more" and that is our production mantra. Someone once said perfection is not when there is nothing left to add; but, rather when there is nothing left to take away!

And we are always good with a well done 3/4 tune and, man, this is one. Great choice.

Excellent vocal, write and melody and the mix sounds good on our monitors.

Enjoyed it!
