This is the 2nd of 5 instrumental versions of my "Deya Flows" chord structure, the 1st one and variant with piano never to be posted on this forum, then skipping this previously unposted Version 2 came the "V3: Transformations" and the "V4: Dance Care Love". This version was on hold because I wanted a different kind of video for it, but I finally gave up on that.

This instrumental, minus the 1st guitar and the end tenor sax solos, is also the rhythm track for my still incomplete "Deya Flows [the Song 'rock' version]", which I'll shortly upload to SoundCloud, private view only, then post the link here as I'm in search of new vocalist.

Chay,

Beautiful soundscape! The differing instrumentation throughout is a nice touch. A very pleasant listen!

I really lke the instrumentation on this, Chay. Cool flow. You may not have achieved the video you envisioned, but you did another fine job creating compelling images. I was really digging the guitar solo and then the sax came to the mic. Man, perfect how he builds. Yeah, great flow to the whole piece.

Tasteful guitar noodling over a relaxed backing track.
I like this combination.

Chay, really nice composition, and superb use of BiaB instruments! Like how you worked the soloists around to keep it fresh. FWIW, I like the volume level of the sax solo quite a lot, but the guitar solos seemed relatively loud. Gosh, I've turned into my father. frown

Very enjoyable listen, thanks for posting!

This has a great sound, and the chord pattern is very nice. I like your guitar work, and use of real tracks.

David, Allen, Dave of the Blue Attitude, Marty of the Babu-she-bob-bob-aramalama-ding-dong, B.D. Thomas, DC Ron and Elliot, many thanks for your spirit-raising responses. All very much appreciated.

DC Ron: I like loud guitar solos. … OMG! I'm beginning to sound like my great nieces!

Elliot: I wish it was my guitar work! The 2nd solo is by session musician Dave Cleveland who has an incredibly unique style. He's my favourite of the BiaB guitar soloists, but there's a limit to how often his samples can be used as one gets the same phrases repeated.

I almost missed this one but I am very glad that I didn't.
Nice groove.
You picked the right RTs for the lead and backing tracks.
Super mix - It sounds like a late night jam and that's a good thing.

Thanks so much, Mario. Yes, it does have that late night jam feel. smile

Very nice work! The guitar parts were outstanding! I know it can be frustrating trying to find a video to match the audio, but you did fine here! It's a nice clean production that sounds really good to me!

Thanks, TB
