Very pretty song!! Love the way the music works. Would be interesting to hear with the EP being more Wurly and less bell-like. Really nice stuff!! Take care. Greg
Very nice Don. Details, please! Guitar/amp?

Regards,

Bob
Bob,

I always appreciate your ear squint and comments. You have always encouraged me.

I wish I could take more credit but that's BIAB all the way! I entered the chord progression then Brent Mason and John Jarvis dropped over to burn the tracks.

I so love Peter Gannon and his superlative crew for giving back an ability for musical expression that I thought was forever lost.

Thanks again, Peter!

Thanks, Greg, actually, the EP, is a little too far back in the mix but I liked it so rendered it that way.

As for tweaks - I used Audacity's default compressor setting, a soft knee, and that's all that I found necessary.

So happy that you enjoyed it.

These PG Forums are the most supportive, friendly, knowledgeable musicians on this planet, bar none. Musicians at any level are never flamed by members of these forums, some of whom could write volumes on music theory but have, instead, chosen to hang their diplomas, credentials, and egos at the door to become members of Dr Gannon's family.

Did I mention that I love this place and the countless friends, worldwide, that lurk here?

Ahrg! Fooled again! eek

You're right about Dr. G and the Crew, Don. We're all in their debt for allowing us to hear the music that fills your head.
Bob, what prevents us, his entire PG Family, from acknowledging him and honoring him in some small, but memorable, way? Something that he will actually use!

I will give it my utmost support but feel grossly inadequate to organize it. Fellow BBer, Danny Campo, is immersed in such things and may have fabulous suggestions. Just mentioning Danny brought a thought to mind - how about organizing a combo Bayou Fishing trip and Nashville - New Orleans tour. Danny knows many pro Blues artists as well as Country artists. It would be fun for everyone involved. Please consider it then PM me with your thoughts. Incidentally, do non residents require fishing licenses? If not outlandish cost, I'll cover his licensing fees.

16 year old, Lana Mason, Brent's niece, would gladly be his entourage tour guide in N-ville and her Dad, Randy, is house drummer/guitarist at Grand Ole Opry's famed Ryman Auditorium in Nville.

Danny could guide him through Bluesville/Jazzville, Nawlins. A bit of organizing would make this an unforgettable experience for Peter who spends so much time out of sight and back stage. Depending upon his schedule, I'll ask Ventures' Nokie Edwards to meet Peter somewhere mutually convenient.

This could be great fun for everyone!

Several have been wanting a BIAB convention, this could be it!

Greg, I must call Tech Support. My version (2014) didn't include a "Wurly" Button! lol

Amazing work on the Gpicker, love the good clean sound; thanks for sharing!
So Brent and John were just driving by and saw a light on, eh? Well, I'm glad they pulled in. Nice!

J&B, yes, Brent and John musta saw the porch laht owan (Okie-speak) and stopped in to blow the foam offin a few. They are both yer basic party animals!

It's absolutely amazing that we can invite such great artists to jam with us and back our tracks.

Thanks so much, Peter, for enabling me to express my love of music again, you, sir, are simply awesome! Sans lol.
Hi Don, nice tune and production. The EP sound sounds to me more like a vibe than EP, hence the "bell" like tone. I'm I mistaking? It would be good if you are so kind to post the style and sounds used. Thanks

Mike B.

Don, you are an inspiration to me! May your good attitude, good musical sensibilities and good human interaction skills all rub off on me eventually!
hi don really nice peace plus 1+ thanks for sharing excellent musicians thanks to biab and your arranging eric
Don, although the Peter Gannon and his crew write the best music software out there it takes a lot of talent to put it together and produce such a beautiful song.

Two thumbs up for the song and two thumbs up for Don!
