My brother used to pick up every stray he saw and bring it home.
That song reminded me of him and made me smile.

This song make me hope that poor little doggie finds his way home.

Anyway, I enjoyed it!

Bob,
Sweet and sincere- I really liked the way you got into the heart of that " underdog"!

Some great lyrics:

I’ve been groomed
I’ve been doomed
I’ve been closing all the doors
i’ve been dozing on all fours
I’ve been unknown and known

I think dog lovers everywhere will tear up at this.

A good write. I really enjoyed it, but of course I'm a hardcore dog person. grin I thought it was a good vocal as well.

"I’ve been unknown and known".

Nice line, Bob.

A different kind of write for you. (you don't often use repeated words). It works. A good folk vibe....

Excellent mix. Enjoyed it.

Really cool, really catchy song!! You really have a knack for finding a structure in your songs that just sticks with the listener. Another very fine song in a long streak of them from you! Really great!! Take care. Greg

This is is really cool, and funny!!

Don't know if that was the intention, but I thought this was very humorous--and clever.

Great job.

David,

Thanks. I tried to lighten some of the lines - didn't want the song to be too heavy. smile

Bob,

What a catchy chorus... I'm still singing it even thought the song finished 5 minutes ago! It's a very clever hook and a very inventive piece of work. Very enjoyable.

Noel

A big WOW from two long time dog lovers (we've arranged the rescue of several). What a great idea for a write and you succeeded with the vocal delivery and the sparse effective arrangement.

As I write our Border Collie is looking very quizzically at me...perhaps she heard the message smile

We like everything and found it especially interesting in how well you made the harder drum sound work so well with the lighter feeling RT's.

Excellent!
