Restless Love

CAmFG twice
CAmFG got a restless, got a restless, got a restless love
CAmFG got a restless, got a restless, got a restless love
CAmFG the hungry beast has come awake, your brain to burn, your soul to take.
CAmFG your savage heart will find a cure, for what the flesh cannot endure.
AmC what's the appeal to it, fall down and kneel do it,
DmF can't make a deal with it, restless love
CAm taking the chances, those backyard romances,
FG making advances on restless love
AmFGC FGC all you want is restless love,
AmG all you are is restless
CAmFG Feeling breathless, getting desperate, got a restless love
CAmFG do they know it, do I show it, got a restless love
AmC rudely awakened, the past is forsaken,
DmF once you've been taken by restless love
CAm try to be cute as you fly in pursuit of it,
FG never get used to it, restless love.
FAm Long ago
DmFC I never had these thoughts of love
FC Now it seems
DmAmG I can never get enough
CAmFG solo
AmFGC FGC All you need is restless love,
AmG All you are is restless
CAmFG Feeling breathless, getting desperate, got a restless love
CAmFG do they know it, do I show it, got a restless love
CAmFG Taking action, satisfaction, got a restless love
CAm walk with danger, perfect stranger
F I got a restless
GC got a restless love

Cool tune. Sounds like it came from the 80's

Cool tune!! Like Scott said, a nice 80's vibe. Gets a little creepy at times, sort of like Every Breath You Take. I like the vocal fx and arrangement. Nice job!! Take care. Greg

Hi Will Rockwell, Very nice effects on the guitars, especially that phaser! Very psychedelic. Great work! smile

I used both the phaser and flanger in Pro Tools effects, and used Audacity to create the reverse echo leading up to the drum downbeat.

I do have creepy songs, this is not really one of them. It's just about the insatiable sexual appetite of teenage boys. Any inherent creepiness is the guilt you feel when you can't control the "hungry beast"

Will, this sounds like a considerable amount of thought and time went into the production. We aren't students of 80's rock but we've listened to it enough to appreciate how well you nailed the groove. Your use of the effects is most impressive.

This is the showcase forum and this perfectly fits the bill and demos the power of BiaB in talented hands.

Will,

A great 80s vibe, enjoyed it a lot. Love the distorted guitar stabs.

The vocal sound works well and reminds me of "Video Killed the Radio Star" (The Buggles).

Cheers

I greatly appreciate the compliments, especially the comparison to 80's productions. I would argue that the song structure and production that made great songs in the 80's has not been exhausted. I am not trying to imitate the sounds of the past, it's the song structure I know, and I think there's lots more that can be done with it. I'll never tire of a good arpeggio riff played on a Rickenbacker 12 string.
