attached is the screenshot of the onlne manual. the screenshot shows harmony settings as 5th etc. my nectar harmoniser only allows me to set semitone intervals - not choose from thirds, sixths and fifths - which is what the words on the screenshot say but not the picture.

am i missing something? simply setting a semitone number won't keep me to notes within the scale of the key set. In the key of C, a C note wold harmonise with an E - four semitones up, but an E note would get a note of G#.

can someone put me right please?

Seems to me there's an option to set the module to Major, Minor, Chromatic, which may govern what you can choose in terms of semi-tones or intervals.

Look under the Pitch help section. That's where the scale options are discussed.

thanks scott - setting to the major scale gave me the thirds, sixths and fifths as settings.

jsut shows how much of the many programs i've got i just can't work as well as i should!
