I would think this would be very simple to record, wonder why it's never been included.

What style? What tempo?

Isn't there RD's for that? Drummers don't care much about the chord changes which drive RT's, do they? They only know Rythms (styles) and tempos, right?

There's such thing already. There's a couple of styles for play fours that have the solo drums (jazz swing style)playing on "B" if I'm not mistaking.I don't have them on front of me now but I'll post the later. What I do is I just create a song at a tempo I need (withing the range of the RD)and record that for a length of time and use them later on my DAW on any song I want to use them. Works very good. And yes, chords don't really matter.

Update on this topic. So far the only style on jazz swing is; Jazz4sTerryClarke, tempos from 110-340, also JazzBrushes4s, from Terry Clarke; same tempo. Create a lets say a 34 bar song, no chords entered, then every other four bars make that a "B" part (green). It will create a solo every four bars, each time totally different. Very cool. You can use this on your DAW for any swing song at an specific tempo.
