I'm after something towards the slow end of the spectrum...so I can keep up with my students. grin
Thanks.

Hmmm....just shooting from the hip.

After listening to both YT examples, it just sounds like the "EDM" genre to me.
Would that be a search term to try in the 'styles' field?
I don't know....just a thought.

Good luck on our quest....hope that helps a bit.

Carry on...
Thanks. I'll have a look tonight.
EDM sure is a style choice. I found the EDM styles and 2 or 3 of the 25 seemed to offer a possible Bass and Drums. I suspect this is a project for Reaper to get some edgy synths etc. A chance to play with iZotope Iris and even Trash perhaps? My students are Chinese, so some of the KPOP or Japanese dance styles might work as well. Thanks Chulaivet1966.

Ooo, this one's right up my alley! grin

But first, do you have any synth plugins (AIR Xpand2! preferably, or Hybrid 3, or any of the Native Instrument "flagships"?
SampleTank 3, Izotope Iris, Trash, Vocal Synth etc. Some free Kontact Play (Kinetic treats etc), Amadeus and Virtuoso. Various other samplers and synths but not big name ones.

Gotcha,

Got some work I gotta finish up with at the moment, but I'll get back to you later this evening hopefully with what I'm betting will be exactly what you're looking for :-)
Have you looked at the EDM and D&B stuff in the loops PG Music provides? You might find some you can use.
Little update: Instead of typing this all out, I'm gonna try and record a video that I will post to YouTube that will also address MIDI in general and show some other cool stuff :-)

P.S. Sorry for the delay. In addition to being very busy with work, I'm currently in the process of relocating...
No worries. I look forward to it in due course. I'm also insanely busy at work and home at the moment. smile
