I would like to be able to remove a guitar part from the style I picked for a surf song I'm writing, I have chosen the _HANGTEN.STY.
However I would like to remove from my song in BB only not the style, the guitar #2575 as I find it distracting, I can mute it and that does what I want but if there's a way to simply remove it from the song I have that would be better.
I have tried right click and erase track but that didn't seem to work.

Try selecting 'None' as the RealTrack. Then save the style under a different name.
Correction: this won't work, or at least I haven't found the way I thought it did work. The style keeps adding piano back, even if you disable the RealTrack and change it to MIDI. Use John's method, below.

One thing to do is to "Save Song With Patches and Harmonies" and then uncheck the "On" box next to the track you want to exclude. When you save the song, the next time you load it, that track won't play.
Another option is to load the current style into StyleMaker and remove the instrument you don't want. Save it with a different name (so you don't lose the original style) and use that new style for your song.

Search under miscellaneous styles as I believe there is a style called "Empty" or similiar. It exists so you can modify a style by replacing one or more instruments in an existing style with empty instruments!

This removes it from the song but not the style.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first?
