I had a song composed at 65 BPM, and I accidentally chose a style that apparently wasn't designed for that slow a tempo. But I liked the sound of the instruments, so I first tried to raise the tempo manually 'til the style sounded right. Well obviously, as the groove sped up (getting closer to sounding natural), the actual chords were now changing too quickly, lasting half as long as they should. So at that point, I clicked "expand" (to lengthen the bars/chords). Well, that made the tempo jump to like 240 BPM, which is wrong.

So I thought, hmmm, maybe if I leave the tempo alone initially, and instead let BIAB (alone) do that via Expand. Well, it *almost* worked - I now had a natural, good-sounding groove, and the chords were the right duration.... But the problem now was that all my part markers were screwed up, and I had drum fills and choruses starting in all the wrong places...

So how do you preserve part markers' placement when using Expand? Thanks.
