Our latest video release is our Band-in-a-Box®: Count-in & Metronome Tutorial! By default, Band-in-a-Box® has a two bar count-in. Watch this tutorial for a quick explanation of all the options available within this feature!
How may I use the metronome during playback in the Mac version ? It seems to be different in the Windows version with a metronome icon... is there a lot of differences between the Mac and the Windows version of BIAB ? I can't find the same possibilities in the preferences control panel...
thanks for the video albeit to me and Mister Magoo that video shows that it was created in Windows ( for Windows ) whereby the " how to " instructions are for Window users

After further discussion, it's agreed that although this feature carries over to the Mac version, the video created with the Windows version perhaps isn't ideal for Mac users. With that in mind, we've updated the video to state Windows.
Stay tuned for a Mac specific video about this feature!

...or update the mac version so that it has the same count-in functionality as the windows version so there's no need to make mac specific videos Having a count-in on loop selections within a song would also be awesome

Agreed those are nice suggestions to add to the Mac Band-in-a-Box wishlist. More people may see, agree and support the suggestions once they are posted in the wishlist forum.

At the moment, in the Mac version, you can only have metronome during playing if you are recording.
Already posted there back in May last year. Surely I can't be the only person to see this as an extremely useful addition to the Mac version?
Great! If I see a suggestion I've made come up in a new thread I sometimes try to find my initial post, copy a link to the initial conversation so others can easily view the comments, add their thoughts and support the idea if they desire to. It is much easier for PG Music to see one idea supported multiple times in one post than to find multiple posts about the same idea. If nothing else you can then add "see, this idea has been floating around the forum since _______"
