I doubt any here are trying to run a DAW on these atom processors or even BIAB, but just a heads up if you OWN such a netbook, notebook, tablet,

this is not meant to spread fear and panic - just to inform, MS said they WILL continue security support until 2023 (after they were "informed")

LINK removed!!!

Good Luck
Larry

I have NO IDEA what happened that was NOT my cut and paste??

The correct and NON-OFFENSIVE link!

http://www.zdnet.com/article/microsoft-blocks-windows-10-creators-update-on-some-pcs/

I backtracked to an idiot "friend" who found a way to mess with me

Again apologies all

Larry

EDIT

Had to change site PW (I'm going to hurt him badly!)

My ASUS tablety-thing runs Biab/RB just fine (T100 series with Atom CPU) .. from the external drive on a W8 tablet OS. Did this for testing purposes; wouldn't want to use it for day-to-day use here.
Thought I'd mention. For minimal use (MIDI) it may actually be pretty cool for some.

Make your sound your own!
.. I do not work here, but the benefits are still awesome
