Thanks Noel, and Michee. I appreciate your encouragement.
You know, this is one of those boards where I truly appreciate someone taking the time to listen. Most people in my visible circle of listeners tend to tune out after the first ten seconds being there is no vocalist. Being I could never carry a tune with a handle when it comes to my voice, I use the instruments for the voicings.
I am really loving branching out into the live horn tracks in BIAB. I have another where I did some neat variations on the original arrangement. When it is done I will post it as well for your insights. I am trying to look at music from the perspective of an Arranger. Having a great time!

Very nice Ricke !! Instruments are well mixed on this, nice and clear. You should experiment with some FX here there, like delay & tremelo etc . . . just to add something different then the run of the mill instrument part. Sounds good, otherwise.  Trax

Thanks Gents! Believe it or not, when I first started tampering with home recording I used fx. Someone once told me after listening to one of my songs that I "really threw the paint on the barn." I guess I had overkilled the fx. Since then, I began to pull back from the effects and I found it more intimate to the listener. I just finished the second part of this track called, Somethin' Good. It gives the sense of the band after the set still jamming outside the club under light of a street lamp on the corner. It's sort of a tribute to the nights I would listen to the players outside of the clubs playing along the streets of Manhattan. Somethin' Good Tell me what you think. Cheers! RickeG
