Hi everyone,

I apologize for making a new post on this one, but I was unable to edit the older post. For those who heard the original song, my wife loved the song! In face she loved it so much, she wanted to sing it. Rachel is the real singer in our family. When you hear her voice, you will know one of the reasons I married her!

I also worked a little more on the arrangement, and added some more strings, and also played a piano part. Everything else is RT/RD. I hope you enjoy it...

Of All The Things

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Steve

Hi Steve,

Wow!!!!! This is a sensational mix and Rachel's singing is sublime. The two of you are a pretty awesome musical team.

Thank you for posting this second version. I was a real pleasure to listen to it.

All the best,

Steve this is stunning, full stop. Beautifully done and a sensational listen.
The song itself is very strong composition and in my opinion needs to be published and brought to a wide public.

I like this version better. The only thing I noticed is that the guitar solo has an ending that doesent quite sound natural. Kinda abrupt. I liked the mix at the end. Something pretty cool about it.

Bob,

Thanks for taking the time to listen! Glad you like the song, and I agree that Rachel has a beautiful voice (of course, I may be a little partial.)

Noel,

Thanks so much for your kind words! I think Rachel has the voice of an angel. Of course I always knew she is an angel - she's always up in the air, harping about something!

Glad you like the song!

Josie,

I will inform Rachel of her fame! Thanks so much for listening!

OCC,

I am flattered by your words. I agree that Rachel really makes this song. She really make a lot of things in my life! I have posted some of our work together some time back. I will repost one of her songs in the near future. I am multi-vocational, and our schedules sometimes get so full that it is hard to focus on recording with Rachel when we have time together. I tend to work on my writing/recording when it doesn't interfere with "our" time.

John,

Thank you so much for your encouraging words! I would love for this song to get out to the wide public. Heck, I'd even be happy to get it out to the narrow public! Again, I am honored that you like my song.

Jan,

I really appreciate your comment. This is definitely a song to "feel"! Thanks for giving your time to listen!

Trax,

Thanks so much! Glad you like it. I think BIAB with RT is an awesome tool!

Bob,

Thanks for your input! I agree, we should do more together on this forum. We do a lot of singing/performing together "live" but it's hard to get her to settle into the "studio". She seems to think our grandchildren are more important! (I do agree with her.)

PReardon,

Thanks so much for your observations! I agree that the guitar could use a little work, but this was pretty "thrown together". This is not the final mix, so hopefully it will sound better when I am through with it. Thanks again!

I hope all of you have a very blessed day!

Steve

Steve!
What a great song and your wife did a super job on vocals. The arrangement is solid and well mixed. I really, really enjoyed this tune.
Marty

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
