I became a grandfather last Monday and was inspired to write this for my new grandson. The piece was started in BiaB then ported to Finale for development and engineered in Sonar X3 where I recorded myself on clarinet for the melody.

Beautiful piece of music and congratulations. What a wonderful gift to be able to create something so special from the heart that your grandchild will have and know it was done especially for them. Well done

Hello, Rich

Very beautiful song!
Your clarinet is also very nice.
It is a really wonderful present for your grandson. Congratulations.
The modulation from G major Key to Cm via B7 is wonderful.
Enjoyed my listen a lot.

Best regards.

Thank you Rob. The melody was inspired and came straight from the heart. Band-in-a-Box gave me the chance to test out chords and styles.

Thank you Shigeki Adachi. I like your analysis of the chord structure. That part of the progression was the most interesting point of the creation and I am glad you enjoyed hearing it.

The string arrangement was fun to put together. Nothing really special except some mirror passages from the melody. Thank you for listening VideoTrack.

I was happy with how the melody developed as well. The chord structure and some of the BiaB parts really helped me to realize the melody that just seemed to want to come out!

Thank you for listening RichMac!
