ANYTHING YOU WANT
You want it black, you want it white
You want it day, you want it night
You want it cool, you want it hot
Well anything you want, babe it's what you've got
Cos that's all right, oh baby can't you see
That anything you want at all
Well that's all right by me.

You want a car, you want a plane
You want yacht, it's all the same
You want a dog, an Afghan hound
Give me an hour, I'll bring it round
Cos that's all right, oh baby can't you see
That anything you want at all
Well that's all right by me.

You want a house, that's got a view
You want a sky, that's always blue
You want the sun, to always shine
You want it all, well that's just fine
Cos that's all right, oh baby can't you see
That anything you want at all
Well that's alright by me.

Grateful, as ever, to anyone who has time to listen.
Cheers, ROG

If BB King were alive he'd love to do this song.

I am using the new 1040XTRAEZ form this year. It has just 2 lines.

ROG,

Terrific "big ensemble blues". The horns are nicely done (though I wished they had a bit more high end).

A good "Pop-Blues" write. Classic sounding.

LOVE your lead in this. It "speaks"! Great tone.

This is TIGHT!

Vocal control, you say. Never heard of it. Is that some kind of ProTools thing?

This song has such a classic feel to it. And I have to agree that it does sound like a rather large band! I think that the whole arrangement is pretty spot on for what you were trying to accomplish and sounds very professional. Great job, and can't wait for the next one!

Rog,

This is terrific! There's nothing not to like about this one. Everything fits, and well written. Love the guitar, and the sax solos, and the vocals are just right.

ROG,

A B-I-G classic sound! Great music and lyric. You really shine on this. Love these older Blues numbers. The Sudden ending took me by surprise bit I loved it!

This song really smokes! Supper job - totally loved it! Wishing you well.

Wow - what a tune! I absolutely love the groove and energy to this song. I'm definitely getting a classic 50's sort of vibe here. It's very reminiscent of BB King. It had my foot tapping in about 5 seconds.

Great work, and thanks so much for sharing smile

Hi Floyd,
Many thanks for the review - much appreciated.
You may be right about the horns. I always worry about adding too much HF in case it's
just my hearing which is acting as a low-pass filter!
Cheers, ROG.

Hi Torrey,
Pleased that you liked this one. The guitar sound is my old Jazzmaster through
the Peavey Backstage 50, with the saturation up high and a line out from the headphone socket.
It's all old gear, but it still has that blues sound.
Many thanks for looking in.
Cheers, ROG.

You know how much we love the blues and, man, does it every hit all the buttons.

The write, arrangement, your vocal and your guitar simply nailed the sound. Like Eddie alluded to it reminded us of the period when BB always performed with that great horn section. Those guys nearly stole the show on occasion.

Your performances on vocals, guitar and bass are really hittin' the note. Loving that guitar tone too!

Great listen and look forward to more in our playlist.

Kudos!

J&B

The Band-in-a-Box® Flash Drive Backup Option

Today (April 5) is National Flash Drive Day!

Did you know... not only can you download your Band-in-a-Box® Pro, MegaPAK, or PlusPAK purchase - you can also choose to add a flash drive backup copy with the installation files for only $15? It even comes with a Band-in-a-Box® keychain!

For the larger Band-in-a-Box® packages (UltraPAK, UltraPAK+, Audiophile Edition), the hard drive backup copy is available for only $25. This will include a preinstalled and ready to use program, along with your installation files.

Backup copies are offered during the checkout process on our website.

Already purchased your e-delivery version, and now you wish you had a backup copy? It's not too late! If your purchase was for the current version of Band-in-a-Box®, you can still reach out to our team directly to place your backup copy order!

Note: the Band-in-a-Box® keychain is only included with flash drive backup copies, and cannot be purchased separately.

Handy flash drive tip: Always try plugging in a USB device the wrong way first? If your flash drive (or other USB plug) doesn't have a symbol to indicate which way is up, look for the side with a seam on the metal connector (it only has a line across one side) - that's the side that either faces down or to the left, depending on your port placement.

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
