Love Lost

https://soundcloud.com/salsatomebaby/love-lost

Straight from BIAB 2018 to Reaper. Week 1 Challenge to create a song with no chorus. Here's my belated attempt. grin My first attempt at doing harmonies live. Gradually starting to get to grips with Reaper too. All vocals are basically 1st or 2nd take. Great fun! All my productions use Ozone 8, Neutron 2 and Nectar 2.

Style is _FLKSWAG.STY (Folk Swing Acoustic Guitar w/ Ba)

Love Lost

The wanderer calls
The silence breaks
No Soulless walls
His dreams awake
He feels so low
He says goodbye
It’s time to go.
And then she'll cry.

No need to sigh
As now he knows
His love won’t die
She needs him so.
Remember well
Do not forget
Time will tell
No sad regret.

No longer lost
Watching above
No more the cost
Memories of love.
Gone too soon
He quietly lies
Like the moon
Love never dies.

She sang his song
His eyes shone strong
Her words so wrong
His mind now gone
Her gentle smile
His fragile hand
His final mile
Just grains of sand.

Old friend of mine
You had it all
We had the time
You stood tall.
You told a lie
Your time to go
Why did you die?
I loved you so.

Old friend of mine
You had it all
We had the time
You stood tall.
You told a lie
Your time to go
Why did you die?
I loved you so

Really nice work here smile You nailed the harmonies, so have no worry there. I thought the lyrics here were really clever and introspective too. It gave it another layer, which I found made it even more inviting to listen to.

Break a leg with FAWM, and thanks so much for sharing!

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
