Latest from Chris and Dave, a rock song this time: No One Knows We have a video for it, here: https://youtu.be/bN02cQL13QQ and it's also up on soundcloud. The band: Bass: realtrack 366 Acoustic guitar: realtrack 1037 I'm playing the electric guitars (lead and rhythm) and built the drum track using EZDrummer2. Chris is playing the piano. No One Knows (2018, Christiane Spruit) V1 No one knows what it’s like No one knows , when it will strike No one knows, what we are heading for? V2 But they heed the battles call born with back against the wall Do they believe what they are fighting for? CHORUS Face to foe in his name, he has been told We all die without a whisper and we take the battle’s bond Behind white walls someone said:” the white flag falls” We all die without a whisper We all die without a cause V3 We defend a point of view what an ignorant thing to do Do we believe believe what we are fighting for? CHORUS BRIDGE No one knows No one knows No one Knows Guitar Solo CHORUS Any comments pro and con on the mix appreciated, this one took much longer than normal for me.

Great Drum sound! Love the opening guitar!
Chris steps it up...again! Awesome vocal.
Excellent arrangement. Nice use of the instrumentation throughout.
The stop before the solo is very effective. The solo is killer! One of your best - You. Are. On. Fire.
Cool Rock write. EXCELLENT mix. (I had to go back and caps that!)
Top-notch. Loved it. A Great listen. A big WOW to you both!

Spine tingling good!
I really enjoy Chris` vocals - they are at their edgy best here on an excellent rock song.
Great feeling in the guitar solo matches the simmer of the song perfectly.
Begs to be played loud!

What a great song! Chris really shines throughout the entire song and the song is perfect for her. The drums really add to the overall appeal of the song. your guitar work is so damned good!

Hard to follow Floyd's wonderful review. Nice opening bend on the intro and a beautiful build up on the solo with some very nice vibrato. Great playing. A really strong wonderful vocal.
Absolutely superb songwriting.

Nice work here, BlueAttitude! I'm getting a Neko Case sort of vibe here - which is most definitely a good thing in my books! The vocal performance here is truly outstanding, and I love the energy behind both the music and the vocals. It is truly memorable, and showcases great songwriting talent. Yeah, Neko regarding the vocal power and some Chrissie Hynde in the feel.
As Janice says "she always sings with a lot of emotion." As Bud says "that is Janice's highest compliment and I agree."
And there is a equal amount of feeling in the lyric and the scorching guitar work.
Dittos on the good mix Dave. No doubt, as you said, you put a lot of time in it. Man, can it ever take hours to get 3-4 minutes to sound good. Kudos.

Man.... the music on this site just keeps on raising the bar. I think, personally, that this song is the best one I've heard here in a very long time.... without a doubt. Very well done.
Good mix, excellent writing. I dug the video and that was also very well done. It would have been cool to have some vikings vs crusaders battle scenes.....medieval war.... I was actually thinking on the first listen that would have fit the musical picture you were painting.
I got an immediate early Wishbone Ash vibe..... The King will come/Throw Down The Sword era feel.
The guitar work.... where do I start no this? As a guitar player, I was thinking, wow.... wow.... just OMG WOW! From the introduction licks that were so on target, I knew the song that followed had to be good. The solo reeked... of shades of David Gilmore with a fatter, more smooth, and muted tone. Extremely tasty playing throughout. I thought I heard the guitar right on the verge of harmonic feedback in a few places..... am I right on that? Was this with a live amp?
Nice work on the singer's part too. She puts the grit into it.
I love a good war protest song.

I'm just listening to the opening right now as I type, WOW!... this grabbed hold of me and refuses to let go. The clarity and the crispness of the instruments and the overall mix is magnificent.
Chris, your vocals are 'out of this world' good! The passion and fire in your performance take the listener on an amazing journey.
Dave, your work is a 4.5 minute burst of brilliance. Your guitars, your use of BIAB to create a backing, and the way you've mixed it all together are as accomplished as anything out there in the market.
There's no doubt about it, this is a perfect example of what it means to sound 'professional'.
