How wonderfull would it be to have Rewire in BBox and Realband!!!! - This would really launch BBox into the BIG League, as one can then generate tracks (MIDI and Realtracks) and send them straight to your sequencer of choice!!!!!
No more imorting and exporting - Please Please Please..........

Even if they could get the ReWire VST Plugin to work in Biab it would help, it nearly works but the audio coming from the DAW is distorted http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=371691#Post371691

I think I know what the problem is now,
the +1 are not big enough:

+1

or need to be longer

+1111111111111111111111111111

it's either that or hire an outside programmer with some crowd funding:

+$10, +$100

Seems like it would be a waste. I was reading a recent topic on it. https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=503234

Not disagreeing but I wouldn't consider 51 comments a definitive answer, especially in an active forum like KVR.

Rewire is just illustrative of a deeper issue; BiaB doesn't communicate with the outside world as well as some users desire for it to.

In fairness, I will say BiaB wasn't designed to communicate with other applications. On the other hand PG Music says BiaB will sync with other applications. It almost does but there is a timeline drift between the two.

(Jim types faster than me and said it all already)
I don't think any of those users on KVR have Biab ???
Though if Biab was a vst also then sure you would not need ReWire but
PG seems to avoid things that are hard to do like 64bit, modernization and identical cross-platform development for a once a year release of the same Mac & Win version app, so I'm just looking at the easiest alternative for them.
Maybe the easiest way for PG is to fix it so the ReWireVST works as mentioned above http://www.pgmusic.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=371691

I was definitely hoping to spark this conversation. I suppose if they didn't go the VST route, then I could see possibly looking at ReWire as a solution.

I believe most DAWs still support it, but I'm not sure how much of it in the field they actually support. They would probably make more money adopting something on the rise such as Ableton Link over ReWire. imho

Band-in-a-Box® 2024 Review: 4.75 out of 5 Stars!

If you're looking for a in-depth review of the newest Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows version, you'll definitely find it with Sound-Guy's latest review, Band-in-a-Box® 2024 for Windows Review: Incredible new capabilities to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs.

A few excerpts:
"The Tracks view is possibly the single most powerful addition in 2024 and opens up a new way to edit and generate accompaniments. Combined with the new MultiPicker Library Window, it makes BIAB nearly perfect as an 'intelligent' composer/arranger program."

"MIDI SuperTracks partial generation showing six variations – each time the section is generated it can be instantly auditioned, re-generated or backed out to a previous generation – and you can do this with any track type. This is MAJOR! This takes musical experimentation and honing an arrangement to a new level, and faster than ever."

"Band in a Box continues to be an expansive musical tool-set for both novice and experienced musicians to experiment, compose, arrange and mix songs, as well as an extensive educational resource. It is huge, with hundreds of functions, more than any one person is likely to ever use. Yet, so is any DAW that I have used. BIAB can do some things that no DAW does, and this year BIAB has more DAW-like functions than ever."
