I have downloaded a midi file from the Internet. I have opened the midi file using BIAB, and it can play the entire song well. However, there is a melody part in the music that I wanted to remove. How do I do that?

Thanks.

Hi cychan,

I take it that the midi file read into the Melody track. Once you've loaded the file, click on the green SEQ button (it's between the blue L and the conductor icon on the lower-most toolbar), select "Sequencer On Melody Track" and then uncheck the midi channel that you do not want to hear (probably channel 1).

This should do the job.

Noel
Thx. It works.
