Is it possible to edit the instruments within a style so that some can stop playing for a few beats or a whole chorus and then come back in later? For example. I want a song to start with drums only for a few bars before the rest of the band comes in or last chorus for the band to drop out and only have drums before the band come back in again to end the song.

I can see how one can remove certain instruments from a style by going to mixer and turning down the volume of an instrument. But how can an instrument come in or go out at particular points in the song?

Hi Paul,

Indeed. You set bars to mute different instruments when you don't want the instruments and to put the bars back to normal when you want the instruments to play again.

Right click on the bar you want to make the settings in and then choose "Bar Settings". The shortcut key is F5.

I never used BiaB to do this, always levinf it for the mix...I'm going to have to try this out.
