Hi

I would like to create my own custom bass parts to play specific notes over different chords Maj7, -7, 7th chords..etc I want to play specific randomized patterns over these chords.
I'm using BIAB 2012.5 on a Windows based PC. the problem with the pre-loaded bass lines are they are not bass player friendly as far as some of the note intervals in them

any suggestions?

You can do that for MIDI styles. You can record the patterns in the style maker, and set them to specific chord types.

Thanks Peter,

How many variations can I assign to a given chord type or is that done automatically?
also is there a midi style tutorial that explains how to do this?

There is a set of Video Tutorials that contains Oliver Gannon's "The Secrets of the Stylemaker" that may be of help to you:

And the other video tutorials are very good as well, worth the $29 for the set IMO.
