2 Win7 64 pro machines with BIAB 2012 installed. One works fine, but the other will not allow me to hear the notes as I enter them in the notation window. I've tried every combination in the midi setup but still no good and now I'm thoroughly confused. There must be an easy fix, but obviously I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Tell us what you have for MIDI Output, and is DXi checked? Try selecting one of the basic choices for MIDI Output such as MIDI Mapper. Do you hear sound?

Is the Thru channel volume turned up and not Muted?

Thanks for your reply!

Midi output = LoopBe Internal MIDI
VST/DXi Synth is checked

Went ahead and selected MIDI Mapper but no joy.

Thru channel volume is at 90 and not muted.

Odd, especially since you have one machine that works to compare with this one.

Have you tried Opt., Return to Factory Settings then check your MIDI output dialog again?

You can always give PG Music Support a call. They are really excellent. They can even take over your computer if needed.

I guess I'll have to call tech support. Resetting to factory didn't solve the problem. Thanks for your ideas!

Did you select the SECOND Return to Factory Settings button?

That's the one to hit if the problem involves Sound, MIDI or Audio.
