PG Music Home
Hi folks,

I audition some of the band styles in the stylepicker in biab and notice if that box "internet" is not ticked for some styles then I won't get the demo.

So I take it the band demo's come straight from PG's servers.

Just thinking would it be a good idea if it was possible to download the job lot that are not currently available on a users hard drive (I know it would probably take a lot of GB extra space) I would probably prefer to have them on computer rather than to get them from internet.

Its not really a big deal but would help those users too, who don't want to be hooked to internet on their music machines.

Any ideas on this, would it be a good wishlist item?

Thanks

Yeah...I noticed that yesterday when I was demoing some styles to see what they offered....

Since my DAW is totally off line..... I was not able to hear them.

Perhaps it would be a nice addition for an update....although I'm guessing the files, even as MP3 would be quite large as a DL.
Yes, thats a good idea. I'll ask Andrew to make an installer for all of the demos.

Gracias!!

Let us know when it is so.
Brilliant stuff!! Peter,
Thank you very much,

With high speed blush wifi internet connection, along with Win 8 or 8.1, you can take advantage of the free streaming of thousands of your fav tunes in whatever genre, and whether streaming or on your hard drive...

And, thank goodness for PG products like the all-in-one disk, which is downloaded right into my hard drive...including the "superdrive" renditions which are available with a 'right click'!!

There are big venues where I've played that are not wifi capable, and so CANNOT get on to the internet for all the streaming tunes I have set up to work from the clouds.

Downloading on X-Box Music will allow you additional free programs that will easily install other X- Box shorcuts (and immediate gratification to the best of woodshedding guideposts to certain artists)!

...nice and easy does it, when building your access to thousands of tunes or educational approaches...for instance Jamie Abersold, or You Tube access/shorcuts, and as I've said before...either free access shortcuts to music or other data that is sure to help progress in your idiom, or new ones!
Thanx Peter! My music computer is off line so this would be nice for me.
Yes...
bring it on to install en masse. I dislike right-clicking on piano or whatever lead voice I have to investigate...altho it's nice to have that shortcut, too..

I've been trying to overcome the shortage of real WiFi spots to stream internet material that I've left up in the clouds. The more PG on the portable hard drive...the better!!

Happy belated 80th birthday Gdaddy, Good to see that you have no intention of heading up to the clouds yourself yet, keep those fantastic posts of yours coming.

Forever young is Gdaddy, wish I will be like you if I live to your age.

Well...always kept my mind working...and my fingers and voice limber for all the night gigs I did, following my real day job as a stockbroker for over 35 years. And after a day of "trading" and a minimum "two-martini" "lunch:" at Chicago's Board of Trade's restaurant which was named "Sign of the Traders"....as Benson would say, I am "ready for the night!"

I came back out in the evenings to play at some of the more interesting Chicago Bistros....playing with the accompanyment of my jazz guitar, and singing like ol' Mel Torme, it was just a "draw" I couldn't resist.

Throughout my four marriages to a Cherokee, a double for Ali McGraw,
another was the Bunny-Mother of Hefner's Chicago Playboy Club, and the last, a gal singer that married into the Battaglia family, only 2nd in command of the Chicago Crime Syndicate Family that ruled the City, sub-rosa, for many years...we got married on the beach in Maui...with all the trimmings. Yes, I have been forced off the road by big black caddies, with "hoods" inside them. Whew!!!

I HAD REAL FUN WITH ALL...AND I WAS KING OF THE PROM AT HYDE PARK HS, WHICH WAS ALSO THE SCHOOL OF AMELIA AIRHARDT, STEVE ALLAN, MEL TORME AND HERBIE HANCOCK. WHEE!!!!!
