I've just started working on using loops and wanted to know if they follow the chord progression in BB. If I have a 4 bar guitar loop in C, can I get that loop to play c,dm,am,f or are those bars going to stay in C.
If they stay in C, is there anything short of Melodyne editor to transpose it to other chords and would even Melodyne do a good job?
Just trying to learn a new trick or two.
Thanks Wyndham

Yes, loops can follow both key and tempo changes in BIAB. They have to be loops that are made for this purpose; we used to call them Acidized loops, but I'm not sure what the technical term is now. There are many commercially available loop packages.

How wide is the range, Matt?

Good question. I don't know.

My guess is that the stretching algorithm will begin to give artifacts (i.e. sound bad) after too big a jump, and that the initial key and tempo may make each loop different. But, I don't know.

If you don't have Acid loops you can put the info in initially and it will be saved.
