I'm new to this, don't know the rules, don't want to break any. I might be doing this wrong.

Does anyone have an .SGU arrangement of Danny Boy? The song is in the public domain, so there are no copyright issues.

Will you share a copy with me?

I have the basic version of BIAB 2014, so fancy arrangements might not work well. I want to be able to change key, tempo and style.

Thanks in advance.

could only get the cache on this site but they download, right click Save As:

I think they would just be midi but you could open them in Realband and put in RealTracks.

Edit: I thought they downloaded but didn't, there are midi files also you can use, just open in Realband and again, put in RealTracks.

There are a few on the internet.

Use your favorite search engine and look for: Danny Boy BIAB
You also could look for: Londonderry Air BIAB

Examples are given with Google. Other search engines deliver similar results.

https://www.google.de/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=londonderry+air+biab

Both are titles for the same melody. You will have to choose how sophisitcated the chord structure is, depending on the style you want to have it played. the result page may not reveal Danny Boy or Londonderry Air, but if there are other titles with a designator like MG? or SG? (the question mark ? replaces one single character at that position), there is a good chance that your object of the search is on that page.

One version comes with the artist performance set 5: Andy Leftwich. You might already have it -- I'm not aware what came with your basic version of the software.

On the other hand, if you have the chords that you want, just enter them yourself. A search for "song title chords" will also give a remarkble amount of hits.

Thankya! to solidrock, GHinCH and soolan. Starting with a few downloads, working by trial and error, confused, I managed to put together a good Danny Boy arrangement, with the key, tempo and style I like. BIAB might be the most feature-rich application I've ever used. For complexity, I think it actually beats PhotoShop. BIAB does seem miraculous, once you graduate from newbie status.

I suppose it's a copyright violation to post BIAB arrangements of copyrighted songs, and I imagine this board doesn't allow it. I'm learning about some interesting work-arounds. On the other hand, it's pretty easy to roll your own arrangement, for private use.

I've got another question, unrelated. I'll start a new thread. Thanks again.
