Good morning friends. I have encountered a problem that has me baffled. I make backing tracks for my country gospel group using RTracks BIAB 2014, all with the latest updates. After I have made a song and freeze the tracks, later I may want to change the style or key, for a little different feel.

When I unfreeze the tracks and try to use use a different style, It plays both styles at the same time on play back. It will not let me change styles. It seems to happen when a song has been saved and the tracks are frozen. I have never encountered this before on BIAB.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi Marty,

It sounds like you might have rendered the original style to an audio file. If that's the case, the audio file is loading when BIAB loads the song and is playing along with whatever new style you change to.

Try the following ....

1. Load your song.

2. Go to the select Audio, as shown on the image, and then choose mute.

3. Change your style, regenerate the song and let it play.

Hopefully that will solve the problem for you.

Regards,
Noel

P.S. If this solves the issue and you want to get rid of the rendered file, simply choose "Kill audio".
