I thought all is automated until I try to use standalone sampletak 2.5 that ask me to authorise. Can someone confirm this?

Hi ahfei,

Sampletank and Amplitube need to be authorised through IK Multimedia.

If you create an account at Multimedia first, it will facilitate the process (at least that's my recollection of the procedure).

Yes, to use SampleTank and Amplitube, you need to register with IK Multimedia. There you will find the serial numbers for the free versions of those products. You will also have the opportunity to purchase the full versions as well, if you choose to do so.

I see, thanks for the info. I wonder if i never authorised it how did those styles/songs that has amplitudes work?
