24 additional RealTracks
The 24 additional RealTracks include many very exciting styles. We have two country/folk resonator guitar RealTracks, beautiful "songwriter" fingerpicking guitars, hard-edged modern pop guitar, and more! There are also Motown and Rock 'n' Roll RealDrums as part of this collection.
11 New MIDI SuperTracks
We have new MIDI SuperTracks covering many different genres. There are "Bent-Note" classic country piano styles, Funk organ and electric piano, Tango piano, and exciting new Gypsy Jazz piano styles as well!
Because these are MIDI, you can pick whatever patches or synths you want to generate the sound, giving you complete control over the final product!
19 New Instrumental Studies
We introduced the idea of "Instrumental Studies" last year with guitar studies, and this year we've expanded the concept to include piano bass and sax. There are 19 studies that you can explore and learn on these instruments, in a variety of genres.
3 Artist Video Performance Tracks
"Artist Video Performance Tracks" are a brand new product for Band-in-a-Box! These tracks are video performances that play ALONG with Band-in-a-Box RealTracks. This first set contains 3 jazz performances by saxophone master Jack Stafford. With these performances, Band-in-a-Box provides the rhythm section, and you hear AND see Jack Stafford playing along to Band-in-a-Box, playing the standard "Indiana", as well as the common generic progression "rhythm changes" and a jazz blues in F. In addition to these performances, you also get separate videos of Jack talking about his own technique, as well as pointers for how music students can approach this type of playing.
These Add-ons are not included in any other package.
