Help, please. I'm a newby. I recorded several versions of the same song. They all played fine.

Somehow I've muted several tracks (yellow text). It affects all the saved files. Reading other posts it seems MIDI related. I will not play on any song files. BIAB 2016. I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't find it. The M is not muted. I've muted all, them unmuted, rebooted, etc. The tract light above M S * shows it's playing. Help. (I Googled and only found instruction for how to give https dropbox location for screenshot.

The yellow tracts are not muted, the yellow means they are MIDA! So if you don't hear them it is one of two things - 1) you don't have a MIDA synth assigned to the tracks or 2) there is no midi data on the track. 3rd option is to reset to Factory Settings.

Most likely number 1.

By the way, it is MIDI not MIDA grin
Oh, and Welcome to the forum. WLN

WLN - we love newbees
Thank you. I'll give them a try. I'd tried resetting to factory settings before, but I'm certain it was a MIDA (got it right now!) setting I screwed up. I'm having probs adding instruments and finding dll files for them, like the violin and flute tracks, never got them assigned, so in that rambling I prob messed up the others.

I'd worked on this song for DAYS, and got it just right, then this!

I'm also having syncing problems. I can export the files to DAWs (Sonar, and other light ones like MixPad, I don't like Cubase because it requires me to reset the audio (Mackie) everytime), and the song plays fine in those DAWs. I want to add tracks and mix using my Zoom R16 because it has physical sliders, but the mono files come in out of sycn and I've not found a solution on the R16. R16 requires mono files.
Hi PacoAlpha,

Welcome to the forums smile

I'm just heading off to work right now. I'll see if I can offer any suggestions when I get back home this evening.

In the meantime, if you click on my name (Noel96) to the left and then 'view profile', you'll find an email address. Please send me the SGU/MGU file that you have created. That will help a great deal in trying to solve your problem.

Something worth trying...

Open Realband then open the songfile file in Realband. See if it plays correctly there. If it does, re-save the file with a new name (choose to save in the MGU/SGU format) and then see if the new file will open and play in BIAB.

Regards,
Noel
Thank you so much, Noel, and all of you. Kindness and patience is, I don't know. Something really good.

I lied my way out of work and called support. I wish I had their hours. I'd messed up the synth setting, as was suggested above, so support got me back on Coyote and all's good.

I'm still digging thru it all. Still plenty of stuff I can't seem to get going, but that's for another day.

You guys/gals take care.
MIDA? And I always thought it wos MIDI ... then again, I might have to take my wife's car to MIDAS to have them look at her brakes laugh
