I know that there is a BB app for Android etc that you can use if in the same network area as the BB on your PC.
However often when I am away from home etc I have song ideas and want to be able to write them out in BB, but BB doesn't seem to co-operate...
Is there a way to run the BB app stand alone on my phone or tablet?

I simply looked up Band In A Box, if I recall, it was a while ago.

Currently (as far as I know) the BiaB app is pretty much a way to use your phone/tablet as a remote control for the computer.
I haven't figured out how to create with it.
It's handy in the studio, but not quite as handy on the road if you don't have a PC.

they were suppose to be putting midi in the app so as you say if you are out and have an idea you can get it down.
If I remember right you can save midi from Chordbot to band in a box.

yes pg should be doing that with their app, maybe have a Pro version that band in a box owners and non band in a box owners can also use like chordbot. That might bring a bit more revenue in for pg to help with development.
