Hi,
Do you have any hints on where to find loops that are:
a) free to download
b) compatible with BIAB 2016

I am interested mainly in percussion, handclaps, tambourine etc but also general sounds suitable for pop, rock, funk.

Cheers
Mikael

Just search for free loops using the search engine you trust. There are tons all over the internet.

To work with BIAB or RB the loops must be acidized.

Biab will loop a standard audio clip. It can be wav, mp3 or wma. There's a vid about that.

+1

Also:

(1) Some commercial sites (LoopLoft, Samplephonics, etc.) offer free loop packages from time to time
(2) "Open" (as opposed to "factory") Kontakt libraries contain sample folders, usually very organized, containing samples in WAV format. There are a lot of free Kontakt libraries out there.
