I want to have a hit(shot) on beat 1/3/4 in a bar but cant find an answer in the manual.i don't know how to split a 2 beat pharse /any help would be appricated

If I understand your question correctly, would this do it?

Beat 1 = C..
Beats 3 & 4= C..,C..
