I am working on a song that I want to record with RT. I have found a Real Track for the backing track. There is another Real Track that has a great sax solo I would like to use but the bass and drums don't match up with the back track, so a style change won't do.

I have heard that you can't run two styles simultaneously (but on different tracks) in the same song on RT. So that leaves me thinking I need to record the sax solo to a hardware DAW, bring it back to RT and align it with the backing track.

Is there an easier way?

Just look at that other style and see which RealTrack is being used for the sax solo. Then pick an unused BIABtrack (maybe soloist), right click on that track, and assign that RT to it.
