Hi guys
I just bought the Ultrapluspak

Should i install this on my PC or run it from the USB harddrive? Which option should be the best?
I mean the software only, not the real tracks as i don't have enough space?

Right now it works fine (besides the midi latency which i'm trying to get ride of) from the USB drive.

I tried to install the software only on my PC at first but i got:

Error while trying to read the source file. Incorrect function
c:\bb\RAcG14.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG140.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG16.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG17.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG18.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG19.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG20.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG21.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG22.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG25.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG27.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG30.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG31.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG32.XT2
c:\bb\RAcG33.XT2
c:\bb\RAcrd001.XT2
c:\bb\RAcrd002.XT2
I tried twice on each of these errors but it didn't work. So i clicked on IGNORE each time to move on.
To finally give up and click on ABORT

Let me know
Thanks

Webpro, welcome to the forums.

What method did you use to install the software on your PC, e.g. what did you run to do this?

You indicate that the source file is in the C:\bb\ folder, whereas that location actually sounds like the destination.

If you can provide the steps, we can try to work out how to resolve.

What VideoTrack said, and welcome.

The good news here is that you appear to have selected the default location, c:/bb That's good. Just make sure it's the target location.

As to your question about running from the computer or from the supplied USB external drive, you will get somewhat better performance by doing the limited install of the program to your own PC's drive, using c:/bb as you did. It's fine to keep the RealTracks and RealDrums on the USB drive; many of us do it that way.
