Greetings,

Pardon my posting fest, but I'd like to get all my pesky BIAB issues out of the way at one time if possible.

I'm using Pianoteq as my thru instrument VST. I have 2 issues>

1. For some reason, everytime I boot up BIAB, I have to assign Pianoteq as my VST again....and again....you get the picture. Its annoying and a time waster, It should be a "set and forget" procedure...right?

2. When I'm not playing a track, the sound of my VST piano stops. I looked for the old dialog box "ASIO allways on" however its not there.....
I appreciate any tips you may have, I'm using BIAB 2017 with update 459 on Win 7 64.

Edward,

As an experiment...

1. Try right-clicking on the startup shortcut and then select 'Run as administrator'.

2. Open a song. Make sure all the tracks are unfrozen.

3. Load the Pianoteq VSTi into the appropriate track.

4. Save the song with a new file name using "File | Save Special | Save song with patches and harmony".

5. Now click on "File | New" and then re-open the song.

Did the above help?

Regards,
Noel

I will try this, thanks so much!!
