Hi, I want to record direct to a mid track from electric guitar. At the moment I can only record to audio which means I cannot edit it after recording. If anyone can advise me on something to convert the guitar signal into a midi track I would be obliged

Another source of some excellent playing and midi guitar adaptation is Carvin guitars (www.carvinguitars.com). Steve Olliver, an impressive guitarist and vocalist, demos the Carvin synth guitars (models range from classical nylon string to jazz semi-hollow body to solid body electrics). I own and play the NS1 nylon classical, in conjunction with Yamaha motif synths, both rack and keyboard). Steve has some impressive Demos on Carvin's web site. Just curious about the Jeff Baxter mentioned in pghboemike's reply...is he Jeff (Skunk) Baxter by any chance?
