Hi,
I suggest the PG staff should create a room to report the bugs and the fixes.

If you look through this forum "PG Music Product Forums" that you posted in, you'll see bugs and updates/fixes are in here.
That could work, but I think the way it is now works well, as Ray suggested.

Often bug reports are not bugs at all, but a chance to educate the user. In the event we users duplicate the bug, some of us who are experienced do have a way to report it directly to the developers, and we do so. We may also already know the bug and it may already have been reported.

Fixes or workarounds are often posted in the Tips and Tricks Forum. Updates of the program are announced on this forum including detailed fixes.

If you aren’t sure it’s a bug, this forum is a great place to find out because we will ask questions and try to duplicate it. If you really are sure you have a bug, the Wishlist is a good place to report it (perhaps better than here) because we know PG Music staff review that forum.

What did you find?
If user to look thru. the forums it may take to much times.
Create one room just for this purpose, I think it must be convenience for users to follow.

The very first post in this same forum page seems to have much of what you you are seeking.
Take a look here
I'll give a +1 to the original request but it would make me happy if PG would just acknowledge the reported issues wherever they are reported! I guess I am spoiled by devs like the RapidComposer folks who are incredibly responsive.
I see what PG fixed the bugs on each version, but users can not see the fixes that's PG fixed link to what users have reported

You're right, of course. Such a system is going to take work on the staff's part.
Vinh, I just did a search of all of your posts and I found the thread you started about a bug in the notation for 2015. The big boss himself posted he would look into that.

That's basically how it works. If the issue is a true bug, staff will almost certainly post to say they will look into it. But if it's not a real bug which is most of the time, they won't but us users certainly will.

The question is what is a true bug? Opinions vary but for me it's if something is clearly in the users manual or advertising that you should be able to do something and it doesn't work, that's a bug.

And I agree, that notation issue looks like a bug to me. All I can say about that is the notation in both Biab and RB is clunky and always has been. We've been writing about that since I've been on these forums and it's been on the Wishlist for years too. But, as far as your point in this thread just post what you think is a bug and we'll take it from there. It is helpful if you do a bit of research yourself first. Check what it says in the manual or Help files about it, you may find it's not a bug at all.

Hi VinhSon

Over the last 20 years of being a user of this fantastic program I have seen reports of so called bugs which the majority have been user computer errors - incomplete downloads - faulty installations or corrupted files etc.

When I find a problem I carry out the following checks -

1. look on the forum to see if anyone else has posted the same problem - working on the principle that if it is a bug then surely many users would have the same problem
2. do a registry clean then shutdown the computer and reboot - if no result
3. try re-downloading and installing the latest update
4. or return to factory settings

This saves false alarms and therefore valuable time

But it would be nice to have a rolling report sheet of known confirmed bugs - it might cut down on unnecessary posts

No software I've ever seen has of list of bugs that are being worked on, of course I haven't seen them all. There have been cases of a really bad bug that almost kills the program. Those will certainly be talked about openly and the developer will tell everybody it's being urgently worked on. Otherwise, no. As far as fixes are concerned go to the top of each product forum and you will see a list of all the updates, go back as far as you want and click on each update link. You will see a complete list of what was fixed.
