How to delete whole note rests? - 10/11/17 12:10 AM
In a bass part I want to notate the first bar and then pen in repeat signs in the next three bars. Is there a way to delete the whole note rests?

I looked at your request and even made several attempts to produce it, unsuccessfully.

Not sure if this is what you are looking for
Just left click on the whole note rest in editable mode and it is replaced by a note which you can move to suit

Jazzman, good idea. That might work for what Ray is trying to achieve.
It would be better if there was a more straightforward method too.

Thanks Jazzman. I need blank bars without rests so I can pen in 1 or 2 bar repeat signs. If I enter any notes after the first bar, then the rests appear. This is my work-around:
