Run BIAB from Portable Hard Drive

I'm running Win 10 and would like to know if I can run everything from a 1TB portable drive. I'm planning on upgrading to 2018 and would like to take everything off my laptop.

Can I run it as a virtual machine (virtualbox).

And yes it can run from external drive, as a matter of fact it comes ready to run FROM its own external drive, as long as you order it with a the HDD option.

Yes, as Larry mentioned, you can run it from an external drive. You still need to run the installer program and select the destination files location because it also handles the required fonts installation and a few other housekeeping items, but the target can definitely be your external drive.
