Please welcome me back to the fold; I just ordered the 2018 UltraPak! Last purchased version: 2012.5; last installed version: 2009… cool

Welcome back! I hope your absence was only because you've been "busy" and not something more serious. I always enjoyed your posts in the past and look forward to more of them now.

There have been so many improvements and additions to the programs, styles, and RealTracks, you are going to have a lot of fun absorbing it all.

Again, welcome back!

Richard,

It's good to see you back in the forums again!

Version 2018 is incredible software! By jumping from 2012.5 to the current version, I'm pretty sure that you'll be amazed.

Enjoy!
Noel

Hey, LT: How much do I need to do?

Liquid-cooled Intel 2570k 3.3 GHz quad core, 16 Gb RAM (expandable to 32 Gb), 500 Gb SSD C:\ drive, 1 Tb D:\ drive, Win 7 Ultimate, Zotac 2 Gb double-head video card, yada yada. Boots to Windows in 20 seconds… Did I miss anything?

cool

Well... I'd say you're ok... for now...

PS: No Windows 10? Why? It's so much better than any other Windows ever made, specially with Audio.

I didn’t upgrade to Windows 10 because I have $400 worth of perfectly good—but unusable—interfaces from the last two changes, because the mfrs failed to write new drivers. It might have been shortsighted, but I didn’t feel like paying for new hardware. (Present device is PreSonus AudioBox USB from 2010.)
