I had to reinstall 2017, can someone please refresh my memory as to how I get back to the "screen view" with all the icons, I don't remember.

there is a small square box up on the top left corner to change it just under the boxes with wav,mid etc.

Lastly, the option can be found under the Window menu (next to the Audio menu).
